Proformance Manufacturing offers glass sealing alloy stamping with extensive capabilities to exact precision tolerances.
Why Glass Sealing Alloys?
They exhibit thermal expansion characteristics similar to glass used for optical lens’. This makes them ideally suited for use in mounting optical lens’ in devices such as laser systems, optically controlled devices, surveillance cameras, lighting devices, and any type of ‘scope’.
Stamping Materials for Glass Sealing
Include Kovar, Iron Nickel Cobalt, 42% Nickel Iron Alloy, Monel, molybdenum, OFHC Copper, Cupronickel, Monel to name a few.
Capabilities of Stampings for Glass Sealing
- Includes stamping/deep draw of material 0.005” to 0.375” thick.
- Deep draw of 6” deep with a bed size of 5’ x 5’
- Standard stamping and deep draw stamping tolerances
- 2nd operations machining or CNC turning to achieve close tolerances.
Glass Sealing Alloy Design
All secondary operations are designed,
developed and produced on-site with
over 70 years of experience in glass sealing alloy stamping design and applications.
